The PQR states facts: this weld was made with these variables, and these tests gave these results. The WPS is written against it, and the qualified ranges follow from the code’s rules applied to those facts.
A PQR is not revised to suit a new job. If the job falls outside the range, either another qualification covers it or a new test is required.
