Warehouse · consumables · filler metal
Stock & consumables
Filler metal and consumables carry their own control — baking, issue, re-bake, traceability to the weld — and it lives on a whiteboard, so the audit finds electrodes issued from an oven nobody logged.
How it works
- 01
Receive the batch with its certificate
Filler metal and consumables enter as batches, each carrying its EN 10204 inspection certificate.
- 02
Enforce baking and issue
Baking, holding and re-bake are tracked and enforced before a consumable is issued to the work.
- 03
Trace the batch to the joint
The consumable batch is linked to the joint it fused, so traceability is recorded, not reconstructed.
What it covers
Warehouse & movements
Items, locations, receipts and issues — stock that reconciles, not a guess.
Consumables & filler metal
Batches and their certificates, held against the control they actually need.
Baking & issue control
Baking, holding and re-bake tracked and enforced, not chalked on a board.
Traceability to the weld
Which consumable batch went into which joint — recorded, not reconstructed.
Levels & reorder
What's low before the line stops, not after.
Consumable control, not a general warehouse
Consumable control is a welding-shop discipline first: filler metal is a batch with a certificate, a baking regime and a trail to the joint it fused. This module runs alongside whichever suite you practise and shares the material record with traceability.
The difference from a general warehouse system is that the control is the point, not an afterthought — the batch, its certificate and its baking state travel with it all the way to the weld.
