This is for when NDT is your business. Doing NDT on your own welds, as part of fabrication? That is built into Worgify Fabrication — you do not need this. Worgify NDT is for the company whose product is the inspection itself.
You inspect other people’s work — a weld, a casting, a length of pipe — and the report you sign is your product. Your system of record is not the structure; it is the inspector, the instrument and the method, and the evidence that all three were valid on the day. Worgify captures readings offline at the joint, checks qualification and calibration at the moment of signing, and issues a report the client can verify against your registry without picking up the phone.
In the field or in an accredited lab
The two run the same twelve methods; the difference is the operating model, and Worgify holds both.
- In the field — technicians on a client site, mobile and offline, syncing when a connection appears. RT, UT, MT, PT and the rest, recorded where they are performed.
- In an accredited laboratory (ISO 17025) — samples registered on intake, work refused when a method or range falls outside your scope of accreditation, and an instrument blocked when its calibration has lapsed. Measurement uncertainty is carried on the result, not in a side file. And a wrong report is never edited in place: the original stays frozen and an amended report supersedes it, so the assessor sees exactly what changed and why.
